Return the Money from Dead-beat Dad, Joe Moore!
Moore abused his office by accepting $14,500 from a dead-beat dad posing as a real estate developer in exchange for Moore's support for a lucrative zoning change and the demolition of the former Adelphi Theater, all the while knowing full well the beneficiary owed $400,000 in child support payments.
Golden Hands Construction Company, Inc.
6/8/2005 $1,000.00 to Citizens for Joe Moore
7/12/2005 $1,000.00 to Democratic Party of the 49th Ward
3/10/2006 $2,500.00 to Citizens for Joe Moore
Zuric Development, Inc. to Citizens for Joe Moore
12/14/2006 $2,500.00
12/14/2006 $2,500.00
4/6/2007 $2,500.00
2/14/2008 $2,500.00
Moore DOES NOT REPRESENT us when he took this money. Through his actions Moore placed the needs of his political career ahead of the needs of children. This is not what our community values. We DEPLORE THIS ABHORRENT BEHAVIOR. WE DEMAND RESTITUTION. NOW!
Do it TODAY, Alderman Moore!
It's FOR THE CHILDREN!
Dear neighbors,
Please write to Alderman Joe Moore today at AldMoore@aol.com with a cc: to ward49@cityofchicago.org . Ask your elected representative for JUSTICE for the Zuric children. Ask the Great Champion of Children Everywhere for a written response. Please post your text in the comments to help give your neighbors ideas about what to say, but write in your own words.
Or call 773-338-5796, but DON'T leave a message, DON'T talk to an assistant, ask to speak directly to YOUR Alderman, or ask for a call-back.
Thank you!

Well folks, that's why he has no credibility in this neighborhood. He's a idiot who doesn't have a clue.

Westgard Tells His Commenters They are Dumb-fucks
Funny enough, that's the first truthful blog post this Pollyanna blogger has written.

Thomas Westgard Breaks the Law.... Again
If you've ever walked down the west side of the 6900 block of North Sheridan Road, you'll always find a dog-shit land mind section. Ever wonder who's dog owner left that mess behind for someone to step in? One local blogger, Tom Mannis, caught the one who's causing the mess.
It's Tom Westgard - the rarely employed storefront lawyer, who poses as some self righteous blog preacher defending Joe Moore all over the internet. In the last nine months, that seems to be his ONLY job.
One has to wonder why Tom Westgard doesn't pick up his dog shit. Does Westgard think because he's such great buddies with the Alderman, he's above the law? Or maybe he's in a hurry to get back to the computer to monitor all the blogs and comments?
And to teach children this is acceptable is nothing more than a act of a irresponsible parent. I'm guessing that's why his ex-wife Amy took the child and left him to live with her mom. Now the community is finding out what Amy already knows. Westgard is irresponsible.

* Rogers Park's Biggest Goofball - Thomas Westgard
If there ever was a bigger community idiot, we in Rogers Park haven't found one quite like the storefront ambulance chaser Tom Westgard yet. Just listen to this moron ramble on, about nothing.
And in the WTF department, who's that he's carrying out of the meeting early, his newest girlfriend?
Blognotes: Why did I post this here you ask? I'm judging on my stat-counter how many readers will click stories in the comments section compared to how many read the stories only. Seeing that so few commenters comment now days, I'm toying with the idea of dropping comments to the 'Broken Heart' all-together. It'll save lot's of hassle.

* Deadbeat Property Owners On Howard Strret
Howard Avenue has a surprisingly strong list of people who haven't paid their property taxes. There are streets that have a longer list of properties, but there's no street that has such a high concentration of debts. If you view the inability to pay property taxes as a kind of pulse from the neighborhood, it seems as though the community of property owners up there has heart disease. Here's the list:
NICU VOICU 1415 HOWARD ST EVANSTON 10-25-226-026-0000 $29,949.53
NICU VOICU 1417 HOWARD ST EVANSTON 10-25-226-025-0000 $8,458.87
NICU VOICU 1419 HOWARD ST EVANSTON 10-25-226-024-0000 $1,947.72
CHARLOTTE WALTERS 1511 W HOWARD ST CHICAGO 11-29-300-020-0000 $13,385.71
WISDOM BRDG ARTS PROJECT 1561 W HOWARD ST CHICAGO 11-29-300-001-0000 $3,771.66
YVONNE KIRKWOOD 1619 HOWARD ST EVANSTON 10-25-224-028-1017 $182.71
JERRY GALANTE 727 W HOWARD ST EVANSTON 11-30-124-051-0000 $15,358.77
JOHN H LEE 729 W HOWARD ST EVANSTON 11-30-124-050-0000 $5,381.79
Depending on how you count, my last post on this subject had about fifteen property owners, all of whom owe more than $10,000. Out of those fifteen, three are on Howard, the heaviest concentration of big debtors in the neighborhood. John Lee and Wisdom Bridge maintain the pattern with hefty four-figure past-due bills.
BLOGNOTES: Maybe because of the high boondoggle SSA #19, these owners simply can't afford to pay such high tax bills with what they're making. I wonder if any are SSA commissioners?

Tom Westgard Caught Breaking the Law

What the hell is Tom Westgard doing on someone's porch, without permission? This condo is on Lunt and Westgard doesn't own property on Lunt. Heck, being a storefront hack, he probably can't afford the rent on Lunt.
This is criminal damage to property. Can you say BUSTED!
And why is he using a rope and ladder?
Tom Westgard is clearly breaking the law. And he did this in front of his son Loki. Amy must be happy to see what Wee-Wee is teaching her son while on his weekend baby-sitting duty.
I have video of this whole illegal activity.
BLOGMASTER BLOGNOTES: I can't wait for the excuse Wee-Wee's got for this crime he committed.

Thomas Westgard Calls Joe Moore a Big Fat Liar
Tom Westgard, close friend and political pal to Joe Moore, the Alderman of the 49th ward, is caught back-stabbing his buddy. Here he calls him a dirty, rotten liar.
Is Wee-Wee right? On this particular subject, yes he is. Joe Moore is a liar and Tom Westgard says so. It's right here on video.
* Thanks for the Mess Kimberly Bares
Thank you Kimberly Bares at DevCorp for this mess. This slum. This blighted area. She's done nothing in her few years at DevCorp North to improve Howard Street even though she imposes a street tax on the property owners.
Boarded up buildings and storefronts. Great work Kimberly. No wonder she wants to cut and run to Morse Avenue.
All those people who are googling her name must be proud of what they see she does (or doesn't) do for a living. Basically She's a do nothing, while collecting a hefty pay check, thanks to our local public official Joe Moore. It's nice to have low-brow friends in high places.
BLOTGNOTES: For those readers hunting down Kimberly Bares material, not much has changed since my video.
More on what Kimberly Bares does, or doesn't do.

Joe Moore Blog Spokesperson Full of Shit

Mo 'Full of Shit' Cahill said... i have a friend in the park district. i am told that they are sick of the toni and eva show, with their constant inability to attract a quorum, and divisive relationships with the community. they are looking to just go around them and get input from the community themselves. it was the park district that redirected the last meeting, not joe. he did as they asked, tried to open things up. the reaction to that from the little clan there is about the last straw for the park distict.

Now we know why Mo Cahill so fucking dumb. She thinks Al invented the internet. Good god, thank goodness she follows that idiot Joe Moore.

* Osterman Sponsored Taxpayer Cheat
{After a months-long undercover surveillance by the city inspector general's office, laborers Daniel Degnan and Michelle Allison and truck driver Scott Lorentz are accused of routinely working a three- or five-hour workday when they were supposed to be on the clock for eight hours.}
It reminds me of the old joke about who's dad is faster.
The first kid says, "My day's so fast he hold's the state championship record in the 100 yard dash.'
The second kid says, "My dad is faster because he won the United States championship in the 100 yard dash.'
The third kid says, "My dad is the fastest. He works for Chicago Streets and Sanitation - He punches out for work at 2:30 p.m. and he's home by 1:30.
Not too much of a joke anymore huh? State Rep. Harry Osterman is listed as Daniel Degnan's sponsor. The Sun-Times Osterman could not be reached for comment. Being a loyal reader that he is, maybe he'll leave a explanation here?

hit and run accident sends 4 to the hospital

Four people were transported to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston Saturday morning after a hit and run accident involving a Pace bus.
At approximately 8:30 Saturday morning, residents heard screeching tires and a crash when a Pace bus hit a Toyota Corolla on Rogers Avenue in Rogers Park.
Hinton Dillard, a seven-year veteran bus driver for Pace said “I saw the guy coming out of the parking space. I looked and saw I had room so I moved over into the other lane, but he just kept coming. I swerved but I couldn’t avoid him.”
Dillard thought the driver was attempting to make a u-turn after pulling out of the spot.
The car was parked on Rogers Avenue facing east, the same direction the bus was traveling. After being hit by the bus, the car was pushed up onto the sidewalk.
The driver then drove off the sidewalk, turned west onto Rogers and parked the car.
Dillard stopped the bus a couple of yards from the accident and got out to exchange information and call the police. As he approached the car, now facing west, the driver took off.
A police officer patrolling the area stopped and passengers pointed northwest when asked in what direction the car fled. The police officer went north, but the driver had gone south and he lost him.
Dillard said he probably could have avoided hitting the car full force had he slammed on the brakes but he didn’t because “a woman had just signaled that she wanted to stop on Clark and was standing near the door waiting to be let off. If I had hit the brakes she would have flown through the windshield.”
The police officer credited Dillard with his actions.
“He put his passengers’ safety first. That’s what he should do.”
The bus was heavily damaged and the door would no longer open. Police and Dillard determined that the car probably had a flat tire as it was hit almost broadside. They didn’t believe it could have been driven very far.
Police on the scene collected the various car parts strewn on the road. They determined it was a blue Toyota, probably a Corolla. After taking the report and statements from the passengers, police began searching the neighborhood for the car. The search didn’t last long.
Less than two blocks away they found the parked car with extensive damage to the driver’s side and two flat tires. They ran the plates and proceeded to the offender’s house, less than half a block from the accident on Honore Street.
As Dillard waited for a supervisor to arrive to take care of the bus, police went to the offender’s home. They were told he was at work and the officers proceeded to his job to take him into custody.
Dillard was anticipating taking a drug test and being off work for a few days until the results come back in accordance with Illinois Department of Transportation regulations.
He wasn’t worried. He said “I’ll be off a couple of days, but at least I get paid while I’m off.”
He planned to watch the Bears game later that afternoon.
